Three companies have joined the home furnishings catalog market. Damark International Inc, Sharper Image Corp and CUC International Inc are all mailing home furnishings catalogs to customers. Damark has published a new "Home Comforts" catalog and mailed them to between 500,000 and 1 million customers. The Sharper Image Home Collection was first published in January 1996 and runs between 50 and 70 pages. A fifth edition of the catalog will be published in May 1997. CUC International publishes Shoppers Advantage and CompleteHome catalogs.
