NEW YORK -- Iomega Corp. has unveiled a removable storage drive designed to work with portable digital products such as digital cameras, handheld com- puters and smart cellphones.

The clik! drive, scheduled to ship the middle of next year, will give portable users the ability to "store anything digital," said Mike Lundgren, general manager of the company's mobile storage division, at a press conference here.

The drive connects to the portable device and stores whatever data is produced. For example, it will store digital pictures when working in conjunc- tion with a digital camera.

"Any portable with a serial port or access to a serial port is game," Lundgren said.
