ATLANTA (WWD)-In today's market, home is where the heart, and money, is. And apparel retailers are trying anything -- from candles to coffee tables -- to exploit the consumer/home love affair.

As home becomes more central to everyday life -- as workplace, retreat, entertainment center -- some say it has surpassed fashion as a means of self-expression.
