GHC NAMES ALEX LEE PRESIDENT OF OXO INT'L.(Brief Article)

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-General Housewares Corp. has appointed Alex Lee to president of its Oxo International division. Lee has also been named a corporate vice president.
Prior to this, Lee had been vice president and managing director of Oxo.
In another move, Larry Witt, who had been director of sales and market development of Oxo, was named Oxo's vice president of sales and market development.
According to Paul Saxton, the chairman, president and chief executive of General Housewares Corp., "the promotions were well deserved."
"The elevation of Alex Lee to the presidency of Oxo is a natural outgrowth of the outstanding performance of the division, which has nearly tripled in size since Alex assumed full responsibility for management,"...
