ULTIMATE ELECTRONICS TO CARRY DIVX FORMAT.

DENVER-Ultimate Electronics, a 30-store consumer-electronics specialty chain spread across nine states, will begin carrying Divx players and software.
The chain's rollout of Divx will commence in September, when Divx "becomes available nationally," the company reported.
Divx has not officially reported the date of the national rollout, however. "We're waiting for the arrival of the RCA players," a spokesperson for Divx said, adding "we anticipate and have assurances from Thomson that the player will be available by the end of September."
Ultimate Electronics has stores in Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Utah. Stores are operated under the SoundTrack, Audio King and Ultimate Electronics names. ...
