MULBERRY, Fla.-While he doesn't proclaim to have all the answers yet -- one week into his new position as president of W.S. Badcock Corp. -- Donald Marks is optimistic about the chain's future. Marks admitted however that the 350-store home furnishings retailer does have its challenges. "The strength of the organization is that it's 94 years old," the executive noted, "and that's also its weakness. While you don't want to loose what the past can teach you, you don't want to get mired in the past either."
