WHIRLPOOL WEB WORLD PUTS DEALERS ON INTERNET.

Whirlpool is increasing its Internet services to customers this month with the Whirlpool Web World Interactive Network, which the manufacturer described as an online environment to access information and conduct business.

The transaction-based network will begin with W3IN.order. Customers reportedly can check pricing and availability; place orders and track their progress; view shipped and completed orders; research invoices and manifests, and check serial numbers.

As it rolls out, Whirlpool Web World also will offer access to all brand web sites; product information such as Build-A-Brochure and Print-A-Spec-Sheet functions; purchase capabilities for accessories and parts; links to Yahoo and Alta Vista search engines, and access to dealers' own home...
