NEW YORK-Despite its recent acquisitive ways, Glenoit Corp. plans a hands-off approach for the bevy of companies now in its fold.

"As far as our corporate strategy is concerned, we were as interested in the various companies' leadership as we were in the companies themselves," said Thomas O'Gorman, president and chief executive of Glenoit, in an interview with HFN at the home furnishings and apparel maker's offices here. "We have no intention of disturbing the management of those firms. We want to let them continue to do what they are doing."
