ACA BUILDS UP SALES TEAM.

GREAT NECK, N.Y.-Appliance Co. of America has beefed up its sales team, in anticipation of entering new product categories next year.
The company named Robert Weaver senior vice president of sales. Weaver will oversee the expansion of the sales force, as ACA broadens its small-appliance offerings. Weaver joins ACA from Windmere-Durable Holdings, where he was vice president of sales and marketing. An industry veteran, Weaver has also held senior positions at Helen of Troy and Hamilton Beach/Proctor-Silex.
Additionally, ACA has named three regional sales directors. Former Braun executive Leslie Chandler will direct West Coast sales; Bob Harris, who previously worked for DeLonghi, will direct East Coast sales; and Dan Egan, a longtime ACA rep, will...
