No, this isn't the latest dating advice from a self-help relationship book. It's one of the premises behind trend prognosticator Faith Popcorn's new book, "EVEolution" (Hyperion, June 2000). The book offers eight truths about women, and how to take these factors into account while marketing products and services to them.

Popcorn shared these insights recently at a breakfast seminar sponsored by Bon Appetit magazine. Bon Appetit is owned by Advance Publishing, which also owns HFN.
