NRF, STANDARDS BOARD RELEASE CRITERIA FOR JUDGING WORKER SKILLS.

WASHINGTON-Capping nine years of developing skills standards for workers in their relations with customers, the National Retail Federation (NRF) and the National Skills Standards Board released the latest version of their cross-industry performance criteria last week.
The skills standards apply to duties commonly performed by entry-level through first-line supervisory employees in various large and small businesses, as well as in nonprofit organizations and education and labor groups.
Kathy Manse, a vice president at NRF, told HFN the standards pertain to sales, inventory management and customer relations.
