PFALTZGRAFF HOLDS A FESTIVAL TO FETE 20 YEARS OF FOLK ART.

YORK, Pa.-To celebrate Folk Art's 20th anniversary, Pfaltzgraff hosted a festival here last month, bringing the dinnerware pattern's designer, David Walsh, together with collectors for two days of tours, luncheons and dinners, auctions and crafts.

Twenty-eight Folk Art collectors from around the country, many of whom are members of the Folk Art News (FAN) club, gathered for the festival, which began with a luncheon followed by an auction in which club members could swap or buy Folk Art pieces.

There was also a visit to the Industrial Museum, where dinner was served on Folk Art plates. In addition, 2001 commemorative Folk Art crocks, of which only 33 were manufactured, were given as gifts to attendees. After the dinner, Louis Appell, chairman of the...
