GLOBAL INNOVATOR AWARDS TO HONOR RETAIL ELITE.(International Housewares Show to honor retailers)

CHICAGO-Twenty retailers from around the world will be honored with Global Innovator Awards at the International Housewares Show this week with five global honorees being named at a gala awards dinner. The awards honor retailers who creatively blend art and science in merchandising to generate in-store excitement, drive sales and differentiate themselves from their competitors.
"Gia is really the first time within the industry that an award has been given to honor retailers at both the global and national levels," said Derek Miller, vice president, international, for the International Housewares Show. "It's the first time we're giving back to those who have gone a little further, done a little more."
