HOME COMFORT TO SHOW WARREN KIMBLE RUGS.(Brief Article)

Accent rug manufacturer Home Comfort landed a licensing deal with American folk artist and designer Warren Kimble last September, and New York textiles market buyers will have the chance to pluck the fruits of that union.

After careers in advertising and teaching, Kimble left to pursue painting full time in 1983, and has since lent his talent and contemporary folk art themes to everything from dinnerware and table linens to wall hangings and lamps. For Home Comfort, Kimble has added new rug designs in the company's Jellybean collection to that list.

"This new style of rug is both fun and practical," Kimble said of the Jellybean, a machine-washable, indoor-outdoor accent rug made of a polypropylene/acrylic blend. Jellybean accent rugs are available...
