"Consumers search our site for specialty items," explained Glenn Cunningham, Amazon's director of home and garden. "They look for unique specialty drinkware that's not commonly available, which I think is a reflection of the fact that retail space is so limited that stores can't carry the items. And they are looking for technical information they can't get at retail locations because the sales staff doesn't know or the customer doesn't have the time...
