NEW YORK-The opening of a second Michael C. Fina store in Brooklyn this fall is the result of a measured, practical approach to retailing as well as pure gut instinct.

President Jeffrey Fina says he, his brothers and his father regularly walk the selling floor of the Manhattan flagship, talk to customers and carefully observe how they shop. So the new store, a glass-fronted 1,800-square-foot boutique in the hub of what locals know as "Bridal Row" is a no-brainer: a natural stop on an engaged couple's quest for the perfect wedding.
