New York-Moving in the opposite direction of most retailers, Christina Norsig, chief executive officer and founder of etabletop.com, is taking her e-tailing site to the brick-and-mortar level in hopes of starting a national franchise.
The address of the Web site is also the name of the temporary shop that Norsig opened for the holiday season. Located on 34th Street here in Herald Center, the shop's location puts it across the street from the Macy's flagship store and smack dab in the middle of one of Manhattan's busiest tourist spots.
"I've got a huge customer base from the Web site, and many of them have been asking if there was anywhere that they could go to actually see the product," Norsig said, explaining the origin...
