NEW YORK-One way for Best Buy and Circuit City to combat shrinking electronics margins has been to increase average ticket prices via attached sales of camera bags, laptop cases and CD/DVD storage.
On the retail floor, both big-box players merchandise these bags and cases in close proximity to the devices they house -- a clear attempt at cross-merchandising.
