LI & FUNG UNVEILS PLAN FOR CANNON

Li & Fung USA is working on a two-tiered structure for its bedding and bath program under the Cannon brand.

Jack Toolan, senior vice president and general manager of Cannon and Cannon Royal Family global licenses, said there would be an opening-price-point bath towel at $4.99 in 12 colors and a better towel for $6.99 in 10 colors. In bedding, sheets are at 220-blend and 250-thread-count cotton construction.

The products will be available in stores in February 2006. Li & Fung is targeting traditional mass merchants and midtier department store channels.
