SYRATECH CORP. NAMES KANTER, HUNT CO-CEOS.(Gregory Hunt)(Alan Kanter)(Brief Article)

NEW YORK-Syratech Corp. has named Gregory Hunt and Alan Kanter co-chief executive officers. Previously, Hunt had been the executive vice president and chief financial officer, while Kanter was the executive vice president of sales and marketing. Robert Meers, who had been CEO, left recently the company at the end of his three-year contract.
The company also successfully emerged earlier this month from a previously announced voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy with a new $45 million senior credit facility from CapitalSource Finance LLC.
In their new roles as co-CEOs, Hunt and Kanter are looking to support new product initiatives and renew the focus on creating stronger alliances with key retail partners.
