GREINER TO HEAD MACY'S FLORIDA
Federated Department Stores has named Julie Greiner chairman and chief executive officer of its Macy's Florida division, effective July 31. She succeeds Timothy Adams, who last month was named chairman and CEO of Macy's Home Store, the retailer's centralized home buying division.
Greiner was most recently senior executive vice president of the company's Bloomingdale's division and its director of stores since April 1998. She will report to Sue Kronick, Federated vice chair.
Greiner joined Bloomingdale's in October 1993 as vice president and divisional merchandise manager of domestics. She was appointed senior vice president for home furnishings in October 1995; executive vice president and director of stores...
