CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SALES for the upcoming holiday season are expected to reach roughly $13.5 billion, compared with $12.4 billion for the 2004 season, according to the recently released Consumer Electronics Association's 12th Annual Holiday Spending Survey. The figures encompass factory-to-dealer sales for audio, video and digital imaging products. Overall holiday spending per household is expected to hit $1,430, compared with $1,254 last holiday season. MP3 players will top off this season's gift list, followed by digital cameras, video game systems, cordless phones, home DVD players, portable headset CD players, game peripherals, DVD recorders, cell phones and laptop computers...
