Just call Jaime Tirado "The Dragon Keeper."
One of only two people that handle the 26-foot-long beast, Tirado listens carefully as the dragon snorts and belches during its voracious feeding. A black claw rises slowly skyward as its mouth pops open, waiting for the next fibrous gulp with a puff of white, powdery smoke.
"Often I go by the sounds it makes," Tirado says about administering the next serving. "You know it's full when the sides bulge out."
This may sound like the stuff of medieval lore, but this dragon is more steel and high-tech mechanics than myth and legend.
