Dawgs Love Chicken.(Clevelanders voice opinions on chicken wings)(Brief Article)

Inside Business, October, 2001

Here's a question major-league teams ponder every off-season: Do our fans prefer baked chicken wings or fried chicken wings?

While that question isn't as likely to draw praise or ire from Plain Dealer sports columnists Bud Shaw or Bill Livingston as, say, whether the Indians will re-sign Kenny Lofton, it's integral to a fan's experience at the game.

And the Cleveland Browns survey their fans to find Out what they like. It seems Browns fans are nutty for fried buffalo-style chicken wings but not-so-hot on baked chicken wings peppered with spices. So the stadium altered its menu this year, offering chicken wings slathered in hot sauce.

Now, if only fans could instigate a change in ticket prices.
