Frank Piunno Sr., president of Mayfield Village-based MCR Inc., began his information management and digital printing and distribution company 11 years ago. Today, the former president of the John Carroll University Entrepreneurs Association oversees 26 employees, two of whom are his sons. He still devotes much of his free time to his alma mater, primarily as chair of the EA's mentoring committee.

MY TOUGHEST DECISION ...

"Making a decision to hire people. Early on in a business is more challenging than later on, because once a business gets to a point where [it's] generating revenue, it's OK to make a mistake. Early on, you really don't see yourself making money.... It all goes back into the business.
