Seventh annual commercial real estate deal maker forum.(WORKING THE ROOM)

Inside Business, December, 2006

With unanswered questions, hundreds gathered at 7:30 a.m. at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel on Oct. 24 to discuss one of the hottest debated issues in Cleveland: Issue 3. Featured speakers Frank J. Fahrenkopf Jr. of the American Gaming Association and Tom Grey of the National Coalition Against Legalized Gambling took up opposing views in gaming. With the Nov. 7 election and results just a couple weeks away at the time of the event, speakers and attendees brought many projections, both positive and negative, on what slot machines could mean in Ohio. The event was sponsored by Ulmer & Berne LLP; LaSalle Bank; CB Richard Ellis; and Inside Business magazine.
