More than 1,200 business and tech aficionados packed the Renaissance Hotel in late January for the Microsoft Across America tour to get a first look at Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, Office 2007 and Exchange 2007.
Curiosity may have played a role in producing standing room-only crowds as these products have been called "the most significant product launch in Microsoft's history." In fact, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has called them "game-changing products" and announced expectations that "more than 200 million people will be using at least one of these products by the end of 2007."
