SeeBeyond will port components of its SeeBeyond Integration Composite Application Network Suite to Sun Microsystems' Java Enterprise System, starting with the Gate Integrator 5 platform ported to Sun Java System Application Server 8. The companies will initially focus on solutions for RFID and portal application development.
Says Jim Demetriades, CEO, SeeBeyond, "As customers standardize on the Java Enterprise System for their core infrastructure, it's only natural that they would extend this platform to include an SOA-based composite application development environment to drive integration projects." The two vendors also are partnering for solutions built around the Java System Portal Server and ICAN 5 integration server.
