Frost & Sullivan's Excellence Awards showcase India's capabilities.(World-Class Manufacturing)

World-class manufacturing performance excellence in India was showcased last December at the first-ever India Manufacturing Excellence Awards (IMEA), held in Mumbai and sponsored by global consulting firm Frost & Sullivan. Awards were presented to top manufacturers selected from more than 120 entrants.
Cosponsored by Microsoft, Ramco Systems, and Rockwell Automation, the awards recognize "Indian manufacturing capability and assess its global competitiveness." Companies were evaluated on--among other factors--quality systems, equipment uptime, operational flexibility, and customer focus.
