Best Software program sprouts Peachtree add-ons.(BUSINESS SYSTEMS FOR THE MIDMARKET)

Best Software's Peachtree accounting and inventory control software package doesn't have the functional breadth of an enterprise suite but Best believes a new program will beef up Peachtree solutions via tight integration with partner products. Launched in March, the Peachtree 3rd Party Add-On Program makes use of Best's software development kit, or SDK to integrate complementary applications.
Tom Fanelli, a VP with Coastal Computers, a Fort Meyers. Fla.-based vendor of service management and field service dispatching software, says that as an early program participant, Coastal used the SDK to integrate its Electronic Service Control (ESC) package with Peachtree.
