ERP-based asset management solutions are rapidly achieving parity with best-of-breed enterprise asset management (EAM) suites, and in situations where basic functionality is sufficient, even displacing EAM based on the benefits that follow from a single integrated enterprise system, according to a just-published report from Boston-based AMR Research.
