Demand for servers, storage, services grows at faster pace in process industries.(INFORMATION STORAGE)

Companies engaged in process manufacturing are buying servers, storage, and associated services at a much faster clip than their counterparts in discrete industries, according to Framingham, Mass.-based IDC. As a whole, the U.S. server market is estimated to grow at a 4.8-percent compounded annual growth rate through 2008, reaching nearly $24 billion.
