* ED also has $2.9 million for technology and media services programs to serve disabled children and students. Grants are available in three phases. A maximum of $200,000 is available for Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects, each of which can last up to two years; Phase 3 projects can receive as much as $300,000 for a three-year period.
Projects can promote the development, demonstration and use of technology and support media activities. Application deadline is April 23.
