The Tanda Clear handheld device delivers a 414-nm blue LED light designed to kill the bacteria that cause acne. The blue light energy provides a noninvasive alternative to other treatments for patients with mild to moderate acne. The light can be used to treat existing blemishes and to prevent future outbreaks. The blue light device can be used in conjunction with the Tanda Regenerate device, which uses 660-nm red LED light to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The red light also may reduce the appearance of acne scars by helping to promote collagen production and stimulate skin healing.
