* Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc., Cleveland, OH, recently received a favorable verdict from a Los Angeles jury in a product liability case stemming from the 1994 Northridge earthquake. Former owners of two 13-story office buildings had sought damages, claiming that Lincoln had supplied faulty electrodes for welding the steel beams and columns in the two structures. The jury felt otherwise. Lincoln had been facing liability claims in the case totaling $880 million.
