* Motoman, West Carrollton, OH, offers a program to support the life of UP-series robots for up to 10 years. The company's LIFE program offers increased productivity through enhanced robot uptime performance. The program includes annual preventive maintenance visits, and also covers parts, standard freight charges, and labor and travel expenses for up to 10 years.
"Robot LIFE gives you piece of mind and allows you to concentrate on what you do best--producing parts--while [we] take care of the robot maintenance," said Al Iwasko, Motoman's vp of customer satisfaction. The program is designed with a one-time, upfront, fixed fee based on the list price of the robot and the number of years of coverage desired.
