Praxair Inc., Danbury, CT, has recently opened a new demonstration facility for helium recovery technology in Niagara Falls, NY. The facility offers interested parties first-hand operating experience and evaluation of the patented helium recovery technology. "Praxair's recovery process is an important part of our total solutions commitment that helps customers substantially lower operating costs while conserving a valuable, non-renewable resource," said Frank Lauricella, the company' director of helium recovery and business development.

Helium recovery applications that offer the greatest customer benefit are: fiber optics manufacturing; plasma-arc metals manufacturing; leak detection; vacuum furnaces; and powder metal atomization.
