* National-Standard, Niles, MI, a producer of welding consumables, recently received a Supplier Quality Award from Subaru-Isuzu Automotive Inc., of Lafayette, IN. N-S supplies welding wire for manufacturing all Subaru Outback and Legacy, and the Isuzu Rodeo, Rodeo Sport, and Axiom models. At the award presentation senior executives of SIA's Operations Committee congratulated National-Standard for achievement in the areas of quality and and delivery for calendar year 2001.

Operation Committee president Masayoshi Nagano commended the award recipients for the efforts in supplying superb parts and and timely delivery, helping SIA meet its cutomers' expectations. National-Standard is part of the Wire Product Group of the Heico Companies, LLC.
