* 3M's Aberdeen, SD, plant, which manufactures an array of respiratory protection products, was awarded the VPP Star from the Occupational Health & Safety Administration for demonstrating continued excellence in its safety and health program. It is the third 3M plant to receive this distinction.
Star sites are free from routine OSHA inspections and are reassessed every three years to confirm continued compliance with all Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) criteria.
