ISO is electronically connecting its Claims Outcome Advisor bodily injury claim management system with ClaimSearch, the property/casualty all-claim database. Future connection features include direct links to ISO's ClaimSearch for comprehensive investigation of bodily injury claims. The bodily injury claims management program provides information on approximately 13,000 medical conditions and 14,000 occupations. The ClaimSearch system contains information on 256 million bodily injury (liability), property; and vehicle claims countrywide, with the addition of nearly 50 million claim records each year. The clearinghouse is a cooperative effort of more than 3,500 insurance companies, self-insureds, and third-party administrators.
