Five months after the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Senate subcommittee on clean air, wetlands, and climate change held a hearing to discuss air quality issues and how they were handled following the towers' collapse and during the subsequent clean up.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), expressed concerns that test results were not made public, and called for testing of those living and working in the vicinity over the next 20 to 30 years.
