For the fifth straight year, the Toyota Camry has topped the list of stolen cars, according to CCC Information Services, in Chicago Ill. In 2001, however, the 1991 model Camry wrested the No. 1 slot from the 1989 model, which had held the dubious top honor for the previous four years. The highest theft rate in the contiguous states is held by Michigan, where local thieves demonstrate a preference for domestic cars.
