Workers' compensation claim frequency declines.

Over the past several years, the National Council on Compensation Insurance has reported that on-the-job claim frequency for workers' compensation injuries has continued to decline--a bright spot for workers, employers, and their insurers. Interestingly, the latest NCCI research shows that this decline has been most pronounced for smaller claims. However, medical and indemnity costs continue to rise, at least somewhat negating the good news regarding reduced claims.
