In this uncertain climate of conflicting economic trends, corporations still are watching what they spend, cutting out the Fat wherever possible. When it comes to education and training programs, however, many insurers say that they are boosting their budget dollars--or at least maintaining their current spending levels, according to an upcoming study from the Society of Insurance Trainers and Educators.
"One big finding is that, despite the current economic times, most insurers have increased or maintained their training and educational budgets," said Patricia McCarthy, president of the San Francisco-based group.
