Senate issues mold report.(Florida)

The Florida Senate has issued an interim project report discussing the reasons for the heightened awareness regarding mold and mold-related issues.

In addition to reviewing the science of how mold is formed, the legislators looked at how different states and the United States Congress have addressed these issues. The report also makes recommendations as to how Florida should address die problem, including the licensure of mold remediators and assessors, and the formation of a task force to develop standards for such services.
