Insurance groups create new research program.(Ventures)

The Geneva Association, based in Switzerland, and the International Insurance Society, with headquarters in New York, have formed an insurance research program to investigate non-theoretical subjects that directly influence daily business anti operational concerns on a practical level.

The research is being supported by both non-profit educational groups and by American International Group and Starr Foundation, of the United States, as well as Partner Re, of Bermuda, and Kyobo Life, of Korea. Awards of up to $10,000 each will be presented each year for outstanding papers.
