Aug 31, 2006 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The New South Wales (NSW) Government has promised to hasten the release of more land for development. NSW Minister for Planning, Frank Sartor, said that 60,000 lots would be available in greater Sydney by July 2008. He was critical of the Federal Government's view that the high cost of housing in Sydney was due to the state failing to supply land.
