Aug 29, 2006 (New Scientist - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The HIV Controller Collaborative Study is seeking to learn from people who are naturally resistant to HIV. A very small proportion, no more than two per cent, of HIV-positive people seem to suffer no ill effects from the virus: their immune systems are able to control the virus without any medical assistance.
