The National Party of Australia says it is not under pressure to block legislation for the full sale of Telstra. The National Farmers' Federation (NFF) wants the full privatisation of the telco to be delayed until rural telecommunication services have been improved. Deputy Leader of the National Party, Mark Vaile, has denied the NFF's claims it is pressuring the party to block the legislation for the sale.
