Labour unions are fighting the Australian Government's industrial relations reforms. The ACTU launched an anti-reform campaign on 18 June 2005. The Australian Industrial Relations Commission president says the reforms will have significant social ramifications, but ACTU research suggests that many workers are uneducated about them. Workplace Relations Minister Kevin Andrews says the changes will be publicised.
